GOLDFISH COLLECTORS ....what do you think?

Alright gang, no official word yet but I believe I won the first three. The Telescope butterfly became a bidding war with me and I let the other person win at $95.00, I decided against the 2ND. ranchu and the last calico ranchu was won by someone else at $110.00.

The really extra large Calico ryukin above, was won for the final price of $280.00
Goldfish connection has another auction on Sunday 6PM MST
 
Dang! I like the telescope best. Nomi described everything entirely that I also thought regarding those ranchus.

Wish I could afford to buy from that guy. But oh well I really don't have room and my pet shop fish are very nice too.
 
Thanks. Ken said they would have more calico butterflies next week. Maybe I can win one. I am taking full advantage of the moving sale, the prices are as low as I have ever seen them. Even though, some of the stock is not show quality in the moving sale, they have some beautiful fish. They even had fish selling for $10.00, two for $10.00, so you just had to look and stay on top of the ones you wanted.

Ken said he thought they would fetch higher prices on the auction especially for the butterfly and the calicos. He also said the two butterflies I won, normally go for $129.00-$150.00, I got them for $55.00 and $65.00.
 
I cannot believe that goldfish fetch those prices. I guess I can understand it tho, as I have never even seen any goldfish near that pretty or quality looking.
