GOLDFISH COLLECTORS ....what do you think?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Jcardona1, I didn't think you liked the small ones, you always had the massive tanks and fish. I loved looking at yours. Now, if I could just get you to switch to having a few North American Natives, we even have extra small fish, I know you will be pleasantly surprised!!!!

My Mom kept goldfish and she only liked the fantails and comets, she said they all looked normal, She did not like the more exotic types. I was never into goldfish and then I saw goldfish connection years ago and thought those are "WOW" fish. I still stayed away from them.

Since my Mom past last year in December, I believe that's why I now have an sparked interest, I look at the goldfish sometimes and reflect on her fish. We had the same goldfish for 20 years before we had to give them away.

Haven't had any big fish or tanks for a long time. Check the link in my sig, my only tank is a 57g planted with some little fishies :) There are some natives I've seen that have awesome color. Still don't know if I'd set up a tank for them though.

And sorry to hear about your mom. That is a neat way to remember her. Continuing to do the things our loved ones did is a great way to honor them, IMO.

Wow. So nice to see good goldfish. Love the rounded dorsal fin. Is that from outcrossing back to crucian carp for fresh genes? All the low grade goldfish around here have the notched dorsals.
