Good Display Monitor

I know it's off topic a bit but have you considered a tegu? Some grow to an imressive size without being too dangerous. If you are going with a monitor I vote for an argus or dumerils (one of my personal favorites)

I would steer anyone away from a Tegu who was looking for a "Display" animal. They can make amazing pets for someone willing to offer them space and attention, but they are social animals and would be miserable locked in a box 24/7.

That depends on the kind of tegu, golden tegus just want to do their thing.

Id go with the 1.3 ackie group , all the fun of the monitors cept minis . just a winning .
