You could go with african knifefish if you like oddballs. If not, you could put in some sort of large schooling fish. (giant danios, congo tetras, bala sharks, etc...)

Danios and congo tetras would end up as a snack for the ornate. Datnoides, uarus, silver dollars, sevrums, asian aro, would all be good mid-upper level tankmates.

i would add a trio of hepsetus odoe's ( african pikes ) these would go perfectly with your bichirs.

i have a 12" odoe in with my 2 x laps and my 1 x ornate.

i would stick to odoes,dats etc if i were you,but the choice is yours.

try asking around a few local fish stores they usualy can order them from their suppliers it might cost a little more because of the shipping , but you'll have what you wanted
