good newbie fish

hmmm, i'd say some real plants would be nice. Things like vallisneria or java fern. perhaps some riccia on top. As for fish, some cyprinids would be fine: danios and white cloud. keep the tank covered!!!! Or, some guppies, or a betta, or some tetras like neon tetra, glowlight tetra, black neon tetra, black tetra... Lol, there's so much choice!!!
 
Yeah, and i'm not really into monster fish. Got a small oscar, that's all. But i do LOVE tropical fish. That's why i get so much possibilities for this tank size.

For Gar Man (and me and other ppl in the US) it means a fish found in the US. (EG Bass, Sunfish, Bullheads, or in my case, Mosquitofish)
 
ya right now i have 1 bluegill with y oscar that he befriended (lol he was supposed to be a feeder) and 3 green sunfish and 2 channel catfish (one albino and on reg) in a 20 gallon until i put them into my 281 pond this spring so ya native for me is sunfish bass bullhead catfish and such :D ok now back to stocking ideas for a 10 gallon tank :)
