Good News!... and Tough Decisions...

I've had good luck keeping female festae with oscars. Maybe it was the oscars size but the featae completly ignored them. Of course breeding may change that.

No breeding plans, my friend! Just a female festae. Well... the lyonsi pair is in there... but as I have mentioned, it seems to me for now, that the bond was broken during shipping. Not sure if they will pair again, but mostly, the male chases the female a bit, then ignores her.

BTW... the green fliers are in crazy breeding colors right now, dude! And the dug a monster whole in the sand, and are defending the rocks over there vehemently so! LOL... looks like they may have finally re-bonded!

Well... turns out its a male festae after all, and not a female. In hindsight, it should have been very obvious to me. But I guess it has the best looking bars in the tank, and it fooled me.

They had no females there at all then.

Bummer.

Well, if anyone happens to come across any female festae, just know I am still looking. I have to decide if I am going to sell this male or not. Thanks.
