Good price for motoro?

50 quid I guess for that size but they get large. Ray expert folks here advise getting marble motoro.
Marble motoro is the same as the normal motoro just appearance of them. Around me a normal motoro is 100-120 for a motoro and a marble motoro is 200-225. I got two motoros for less than the price of one marbled.

Ihsnshaik Ihsnshaik you said yours is still young, what did you start feeding when you get them? Mine is about 5" as well, did you start with worms or cut up tilapia? I thought about putting some Ghost Shrimp in for everyone, but genuinely not sure if my Geos will eat them or not.

Mine is only 3 months old with me just checked the date. They were 1 month when I got them and 2 months under my care. So right when I got them which was at night I fed them some cut up tilapia and they ate that. I feed them as a staple only tilapia and tried market shrimp but they won't eat a lot of it.

I give them earthworms as treats and tilapia everyday. A good amount maybe 10-15 pieces of small cut tilapia. They are growing so fast. One is the dominant one I have and is a little bigger than his brother.

I did have them eat pellets at first but they stopped completely. Motoros are very nice rays they are addicting to own.

Make sure the pieces are smaller or the same size as their mouths. I made the mistake the first time of making the pieces bigger and it took a long time for them to consume the food.

Also show us some pictures. I was lucky mine were captive bred so I didn't have to treat the ray for anything.

So, the first is during acclimation process.
And the second is him in the tank now. Like I said he stays sill for a few minutes and then will move around for a bit. I've seen where it can take a few days for them to become pretty active after being moved, especially shipped.

How old is yours? Mine is the same size and doesn't have those spikes on the tail. Seems like some discoloration around the eye area.

So, I was told they had it since April 1st, I got it today, it's rougly 5-6", so I would assume just a little younger than yours I guess. So on the recommendation of some articles I read, I left the lights off and everything in the room is dark, so it might not actually have discoloration, could be my camera. But then again, not sure. He seemed like he was interested in some sinking pellets earlier, but if he was it was only a few that he ate.

The Ray seems very thin to say they have had it that long and suppose to be eating , u can c the bones either size of the tail , I would say that needs feeding up to. Reasonable size and then treatin for parasites

Awesome, thanks for the info. I am going to try and get him eating tonight. I am trying to find someone local that has blackworms as a backup, incase he isn't fond of tilapia. Think I am going to have to target feed, or attempt to. I tossed in a rinsed normal yard worm to see if he was interested, my Geos fought over it instead. Didn't even know they would go for it.
