So, I got some raw tilapia fillets and sliced up some small pieces, seems to have eaten a couple of them. Takes him a while to find them, and he seems to kind of thrash when he is eating the little pieces. That pretty normal?

So, scratch that. I don't think he is actually eating them. I think he carried them around and spit them out.

Pieces are too big mine did that when I made them too big. They thrash like that because they trying to cut it from their small teeth. Make them smaller trust me

Ok, will cut them up smaller. How long is it safe to leave the pieces in the tank? It is just fresh tilapia fillet from Publix.

A healthy Ray will eat no matter what. My rays won't stop eating no matter what so keep it there for a day max if they don't eat you know they're is something wrong with water or high stress

I checked water params, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, pH 7.4, Nitrate 5(ish). Left in very small pieces of tilaptia last night and they were still there this morning. I am going to go get some ceiling grid and separate the stingray from the other fish to see if being solo will let him calm down and see if I can get him to eat without the others trying to take it first.

He is moving around the tank a lot more now, but that is as bad as it is good, since he is going to keep burning energy without replenishing.

Also going to pick up some Ghost Shrimp and see if that does anything for his appetite. If none of that works, what do you guys suggest?

Mine thrash it around if peices are to big and they will get fed up with it spit it out n either look for smaller piece of hide and not bother , so I would try and shred it up as small as possible I tent to rip it and dices it with a sharpe razor blade
