beautiful how big?

Thanx. Hope does not get worse. Not sure about exact measurements but 20"+ at least (this tank does not like measuring tapes - they freak out everytime i get the tape near the tank). It is as wide (or slightly wider) as the aquarium width. that is why i am getting a 3' width now. The jar growth has kept up with silvers ... surprisingly (or not seeing that jar eats really a lot)

amazing collection... keep us going with updates..and best of luck.. hope it stays mild..

No change in DE - hopefully holds. Only one had slight DE in one eye: it is neither worse nor better

Hmmm, may be X-back is getting DE (not sure whether it was actually looking at paimas on the bottom or it was DE)

PS: time to move them as evidenced by other photo (that tank is 7')

:Doh they look really good... good luck with the move.. please update after the move with new pics... cannot see these guys enough..:D:Di would not like the job of moving them.... thats like when i had to move one of my draft horses in the trailer...:eek:

mine is a 13" silver and until it jumped out didn't have de now has slight in both, was on the floor for 8 min or so. better to have slight dropeye then dead! i feed it bloodworms, mixed fishes, frogs, nightcrawlers, mixed insects, shrimp and food sticks (if there's nothing else to eat at the time).

most definitly i will take drop eye anytime to have mine alive... i really think trauma and injury is the cause of drop eye in the arow...

I have a one-year old 10" silver arowana with no DE. Hasn't had any head trauma that I've seen. He/she is in a well stocked 6" 130 gallon. Tankmates are in my sig. His diet is crickets, superworms, hikari carnivore sticks, freeze dried red shrimp, and fresh caught yellow perch fillets (cut in thin strips). He's a very good eater. There's a ton of decor in the tank and he never freaks out... always very comfortable. Have some floating water lettuce and hyacinth and he loves hunting in them! Tankmates are fairly shy and stay at the bottom level of the tank. This arowana has never gotten feeder fish since he was a baby eating guppies.
