Definition of RACISM
1: a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
2: racial prejudice or discrimination

Racism does not go all ways. It is only racism if the dominant group oppresses another group of people based on race. Anyone can be racist, but we need for everyone to be able to differentiate between the two. I'm not talking out of my ass here...I learned this from a renowned black sociologist in college.

Dude, thats BS, sorry but just cause "you learned it in college" don't mean jack. Racism may only be "effective" when one group is able oppress the other, but anyone can be racist. Racism may lead to oppression but it does not equal it. See the definition above, it says nothing about being the majority or being the oppressor...

Professor inferior to an online quote, no. But a professor's personal opinion is inferior to a nationally accepted definition source (ie Merriam-Webster Dictionary), yes.

I'm sorry but that's a load of crap. Based on your definition, you're saying that individuals or small groups/organizations cannot be viewed as racists unless the entire dominant race oppresses the other race? How could anybody with average intelligence justify this explanation? I'd really like to hear it.
