Here is my very first attempt at Google Sketchup Pro. Still trying to figure out how to use it. It's supposed to be a plywood tank with a silver and black finish.
I've just messed with it a while. All it takes is practice. It looks really good if you use rendering software with it. It can look super realistic then.
Yup, its on google, I forget where to find it though. I use the free version. It can do all that I need it to do.
The only thing I hate about it is that you cant set the minimum increments. I build by the 1/4" most times and the 1/64" measurements are a pain and result in off square drawings a lot of times.
ya know-I seen someone, well, many people use this and downloaded the whole program but just never got around to figuring it all out. Threads like this are dangerous. It could potentially harm me by getting me stuck in a computer chair for 2 days creating every kind of tank set up I can think of. I gotta go get back in my crawl space and finish resupporting my floor for my new tank that has sat empty in my living room for the past two months without water or I will wind up stuck here creating drawings LMAO
Awesome stuff by the way.
