Goonch Catfish 45cm

Will be acquiring a pair of indian goonch soon. Anyone have experience with keeping in a comm tank?

Tank will be a 300 gallon tank 7x3.

Will be putting the 2 45cm goonch with my rtg arowana near 2 feet, st 18 inches, few taiwanese masheers 17-18 inch, 12 inch clown loach, 12 inch flagtail and 8 inch super red severums.

Would like to ask the shifus for compatibility, feeding and any other information. I will likely keep 1 of the Goonch and rehome the other. Any input would be much appreciated!!!
 
i can't imagine anything bad happening.

of course but most of the fish are either fast swimming fish or top swimming fish. I could see stuff going wrong with the loach and severums eventually.
 
severums will become a snack shortly and personallity greatly varries between each fish ime my current 23" yarreli has an attitude to rival a jau but my previous one (died at about 18") was probably the most peacefull cat i've ever owned both of mine took to massivore fairly quickly growth kind of happens in large spurts and they grow much quicker at higher temps (74-78F)

Goonch cats, especially the Indian Yarelli are very temperamental. I currently have my two with a African tiger fish and a jack Dempsey. That being said its all about how you feed. I learned quickly not to keep anything in the tank that I wasn't comfortable losing. My other ATF being eaten really made that point stand out for me.

Nice thanks for the video! What kind of masheers do you have? I guess it all depends on individual fish?

Mine will be going in my 300 also. Smallest fish are the severums at around 8-9 inches. Followed by my 12 inch loach and 12 inch flagtail.

What do you feed your goonch!?
