Mine will be going in my 300 also. Smallest fish are the severums at around 8-9 inches. Followed by my 12 inch loach and 12 inch flagtail.

I don't think your going to have any problems with those fish. I don't think the Loach would be in any danger IMO 12" it looks pretty fat. I feed mine feeders and frozen fish. He doesn't get as much food when I kept him in a 100g mostly by himself. In this tank all the other fish eat up the feeders faster then he can get them. I have to load up 50+ large feeders into the tank to make sure he gets some.. the Masheer a putitora.

Fish my Goonch has eaten. He's eaten a 10" Blue Sheath fish this fish was a real slender fish and a 7" Giraffe cat

Awesome great info! Ill be sure to snap some pics when they both land on Tuesday. Hope they have a safe trip first of all!!! It will be a long trip for the pair.
 
A 12 inch clown loach is a monster I wouldn't even risk it! How big do the dwarf goonch get? Not trying to hijack your thread! Be sure to post pics when you get him!

Any more goonch questions rob (Chicxulub) has has a thread of information that has been compiled on goonch cats. All of the major goonch heads on here have threads up. In robs thread he also talks about the dwarf goonch species. Dr.Ng (the man who is responsible for finding Bagarius rutilus) has taled to him for quite some time. There are major discrepancies when it comes to the current genus which is long overdue for a overhaul.

Here are both Goonch catfish!!! 20-21 inches each not including another 5-6 inch trailers! Both have different patterns as well. I think I will be selling these! A little too big lol. Might eventually swallow my smaller tank mates!
