Every time Ithis happens to someone on here they say the same thing man, if you truly love the hobby you'll get over it! Hell rob said the same thing to me not too long ago when mad max ate his fatf I was going to buy, he's still in it.

Happened to me several months ago to, had everything but my bichirs in my 30 ga die. Then the bichirs a few days later. It was about 10 fish and couldn't figure out for the life of me why. It turned out my sister sprayed air freshener in my room when the lid was off. im still in it

Ya but I'm like dead serious. I may just keep a 55 or 40B for my ansorgii, black volta and gatf and later on start up again but I just have too many tanks right now. I'm busy enough with being a full time student with a full time job and I breed reticulated pythons so all these tanks are just eatin up what little amount of time I have left

What it your thread where you goonch coughed up a tapeworm? Did you ever treat them with prazi? Feed them prazi soaked foods?

Maybe you should treat the masheers in case that's how they died and it could possibly pass on.

Ya. That was my thread. I treated the tank with prazipro and soaked the pellets in it as well. The 1 that coughed up the tapeworm still wasn't off live so I couldn't get it to eat the soaked pellets. Unfortunately the masheer's died as well because since I thought it was them causing stress to the goonches, I took the chance and put them in my 150. During the night 1 of the armatus ate 1 and the other 2 were killed but not eaten.

I'm really really sorry Ivan. I feel your pain. Don't let it drive you out of the hobby! Keep loving and keeping fishes. I can speak for most of us here when I say you're not alone with how you feel. I've lost more fish than I can remember over the years.

Best

So I've decided guys, like all of you knew would happen, after sleepin it off, there's no way I can part with what I have left. I'm gonna go to the lfs later today with a water sample and see if they will give me a discount on another goonch. If not, I'm gonna have to think about it but if they do, I'm still not gonna come home with 1 today. Just in case the masheer's did bring in some type of disease, I want to be safe before bringing another 1 home. I did a 90% wc, cleaned out the filter pads and rinsed off the biobags with tank water. Is there any other precautions you guys recommend I do?
