they really tend to poop in there water. never was a problem with mine.
 
spot cleaning/plus plants.

i also take my python(syphon) to drain the water in an out. its more of a "natural" approach

I was asking because I have that kind of rock in my turtle tank all I would need is another bag and I could easily have a water and dry land area. I really don't want to use something like reptile carpet.

So how much water area should I devote in a 4ft tank?
 
I know where your headen...to the reptile expo on white plains road. September 12...I plan on getting a savannah monitor or a corn snake.....
 
im right down the street from the county center. im going for plants and perhaps a plumed basilisk (im more then likely going to add that top level extension).


i had a beardy before. i would just keep it on playsand but thats just me. its small enough to pass if ingested. playsand with a few decent sized rocks and a big branch.
