I've seen a group of GATF at the LFS. Like all the other members are stating, the jaw of your fish in not long enough, and prominent as a GATF. I've bought from Aquascapeonline before, they seem like reasonable people. The fish you have is not the same as the advertised fish photographed on their site. Don't waste your time waiting for your fish to develop into a GATF (it won't happen), instead attempt to get this problem resolved ASAP, as it may be a lengthy process. Finally, direct them to this thread. Just my opinion, trying to help.

Whoa $300 is still pretty high for a goliath. Thats a vittatus no doubt.

I will say that up close he looks alot more like a GATF then a VATF from the posting made by West 1, one thing that could be throwing us off is that in a clear photo you will notice his mouth is a bit pushed in from being in a smaller tank and hitting his head alot...I am medicating him now and hopefully in a week we can have a clearer picture.

Yea ive seen a real GATF at my lfs and that is not a GATF its a vittatus like every1 else said

Not a good idea to use meds. What are you using?

It's best to just keep up with water changes and aquarium salt. I stay away from meds unless emergencys (I do PraziPro new fish though but not for injurys)
