congrats on the new tank man
Thank you ! Are my pics showing everyone ? Please let me know.

Nice tank, looks clean! Post counts really don't matter IMO. You have always been nice to any replies I have gotton from you in the past and I am thankful for people like that.

Case in point: In the General Aquaria subforum, I just saw a thread about yawning being contagious with 17 replies but my stocking list of ideas for my new 120 with pictures of what I want (26 hours old now): Drumroll please... Nothing, not a single reply. Do what makes you happy. More pics/progress!

Thanks for the kind words guys. And awesome boondock saints avatar. I got the tank semi cheap hood with 4 foot light
A stand thats pretty nice I think I am going to build another one though that sits higher
A fluval 404
two of those nice dual outlet whisper air pumps and countless other things plus the offer of all his fish that were in the tank ( Tons of Jack dempseys and EBJD and stuff
all for a hundred fifty. I think it was a good deal.

Just remember, "I ain't gettin him no #$%# bagel"! That will get you through!

Seriously though, toss the dual outlet airpump in the trash. I hate those things, they are REALLY noisy. The larger "whisper" is well worth a couple extra bucks IMO.

You like the Fluval? I have yet to try one, only Eheim for me. They are like mechanics, once you pick one, that's your guy...

I got mine on foam they are actually pretty quiet. I normally use Rena and have a few extra for this tank. I am finishing the stand tommorow and working on some clear coats and a light for inside the stand :) Maybe a stain I have not decided yet.

Your right about eheims BTW. My 2215 is great and I have had quite a few back in the day they never failed me unfortunately I sold all my aquarium stuff at one time.A year later im buying it all back. And the fluval 404 came with the tank. For that coin I would have bought a 2217 but whatever :)

Stand is built up. I sanded it and put on its first layer of clear coat. I covered the inside as well (its all wood) I figured that might help if for some reason it gets moist in there. The fluval media is on its way with some extra goodies (thanks Drfosters!) I got some media for my eheim ,AC110 , and my top fin 60 too I think I am gonna run all those filters minus the top fin 60

Theres the stand and no worries it will be kept inside where it can lay flat and not bow or anything. It was just on the table for a couple of hours to dry up the clear coat.
