Got a new 100 gallon ! Setup starts tommorow

I am waiting on some media for the fluval and the stand is still drying from its third layer of clear coatLepisosteus platyrhincus;2976025; said:

Should I put foam under it ?i dunno. i only have experience with fluval fx5. great filter. i load mine with a little foam, prefilter and the rest with biomax. with that setup(only 2 pacages of biomax) im running it on my main tank and water params are good. That tank has 2 8" gars and 1 14" gar. Well hes probably 15" by now but i havnt measured him. So add a little foam in a first filtration baskect i would think. add some prefilter with that then biomax. cant go wrong, man

Though I am gonna grow out an African lung in my 55 to go in my other hundy gallon. He will be showing up at exotic aquaria in Sacramento monday! The filtration for this African tank I am setting up today is an eheim 2215 a fluval 405 an ac110 and maybe an emperor 400 if I feel it needs it but I doubt it will. The FX5's Im saving for my monster tank whenever I get around to bracing my house and finishing some electrical.
