got a new BP today!! (with pics)

well went snake shopping today... almost bought a lavender king snake, but it tried biting me . im a lil sketchy of snakes so i wanted something that would be less likely to bite me. well this is what i got, the pet store also guaranteed that it would eat. if it doesnt i can take it back. so tell me what you think. its about 20" long and got it for $52.99....

From what it looks like, youre on the right track with coconut fiber and cork bark, so lets make sure you got the rest right

nice snake. and btw that price is a score. around here, juvie males are $110, and females are closer to $200. god i hate this kinda thing, cause now everyone else gets onj and they're like "what are you talking about, i can get them for like $30"

I think youy have great setup going, but i have one question:

What are your temps? A 100 watt bulb seems like it would severely overheat such a small tank. And I find that bright lights all day, especially focused like that, are very stressful and makes them hide more than they should.

Everything else though is A-OK!
