Got a new marbled female. Not so great

My 11" unfaded texas dies a month or two ago from columnaris. He was the only one infected. I treated him and the tank but no dice. He survived for two weeks then died.

Sorry to hear about your ray. This is why I always quarantine my fish so I can treat them aggressively if I need to. Lesson learned I guess.
 
Yeah, wel ever since ive medicated the tank and my tank water turned green My rays have not been eating. their appetites dropped dramatically. I cant even do a water test because the water is green itself from the water. I found the box that held the furan antibiotics. It says "will not harm Filtration". that is full of SH*T. definitely messed up the filtration. 3rd consecutive day doing a water change. Tank still green. Carbon not working or maybe not enough carbon. Either way, Definitely something to learn here. Columnaris is no joke. Once it hits a benchmark that stuff will cause more problems then you know.
 
Ive uswd nitrofuazone and it never impacted my bio in the least and I ran it for 14 days straight. It does turn your water green though. Bags of carbon will pull it out
