Got a quote from Tenecor, question though...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
We have a lifetime warranty against leakage.
I included a formal quote for you.
If you can order this week, by 7-11-08, I can save you an additional $300.00, plus free shipping.
50% down, balance due at shipping.

That is what his last email gave me! I wish I had the space and money for this right now!!!

if you paid 50% now you might be able to delay the shipping?

Not for the length of time I'm going to need. I'm not looking to get this tank until I buy my house. I'm stuck in a leased apartment until March. I would have nowhere to put it!

throw out your bed and sleep in your car :p

Me: "Hi honey, welcome home from your six weeks in Ohio, sleeping in hard hotel beds and not sleeping well." "Oh, you want to go to bed??? Um.... About that....."

I don't see that going over too well! :grinno:

So I was talking to my girlfriend about this quote last night, and she says to me, "Why don't you just let me buy it for you?"

God, I love this girl!

I just returned after meeting the shipping guy at my house. As I stood there and watched (as if in the middle of a bad dream), this guy pushed the aquarium into a metal bracket which tore through the plastic and gouged the aquarium. I told him "you just damaged this aquarium". He inspected the damage and asked "so what do you want to do"? I responded...."Well, I can't accept it". And off he drove with the aquarium. Anyway, that's how things are going for me.

Sorry B - any updates?

Don't I know it!

Yeah, Brian, what ever happened with that?

I was just thinking of getting a tank of the same dimension from Tenecor. But I don't know if I want the Marine Ready Aquarium or the Simplicity Plus Aquarium package since I don't know jack about wet/dry filters. So I don't know which is better, the external wet/dry filter of Marine Ready package or the internal filter of Simplicity Plus package. Any idea?

You guys better double and triple check your invoices before signing. I am going through a uphill battle with Tenecor. I verbally agreed to 1.5" drains, a feeding hole, and rounded corners. The invoice did not say the size of the drains so I signed it and sent it back not thinking twice. Now Im stuck with a 350 Gallon marine ready with a 60X18X20 sump with 1" drains!!!!!!!!!!!!, Wrong size pumps, no feeding hole, or rounded corners. They have agreed to have someone come and drill my tank out at my house but this has been around 6 months and still has not happened. They sent the jigs but the guy they hired to cut doesnt even want to do it. They refuse to call me and will only send e-mails after they got my money saying they will fix it. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE POST PURCHASE! I will not use them again.
