Ditto.

they're 100% Bahia, the only ones for sell right now, they're from me, the same ones that Ken got. Its hard to judge a juvenile peacock bass, color, shape can all change. If they're not, I'll buy them back :) That should end this discussion.

Almost all the "bahia" kelberi in this country are F1 from Taiwan. There is another breeder with some lower grade kelberi as well, and those fish have been sold to other Asian countries.

it really depends on how you take the picture and the back ground of the tankk, when I took pictures of them, they had spangles all over the body and fins, but his pictures are obviously darker so they're not apparent. Either way, just give it a few months and it will all change :)

WoW so many experts in this thread... Just let the kid enjoy his pbass. No need to talk down on what he's got or what he may be excited about. Just like the title says " just got back into cichla "!! Kelberi or not.. It look stunning too me! Plus @ such a juvenile stage all cichla look the same IMO. Just my 2cents.

I own a few and still can't identify them. Definitely no expert. Sorry japaneseboi for saying that they're not......eating crow now. You're really going to have a lot of fun with them. Can't wait to see them larger.
