Yay!! I got myself a small 4" spotted gar today. I've been wanting one again for a while. Pet store said it was a Boulengerella gar. Is that the same as a regular spotted/florida gar?
 
i dont know but solomon or richard im sure will
try googleing that name
 
Hmm... I googled it and it came up as it meaning spotted pike from the amazon.
 
I'm pretty sure it's not a pike though.

ahhh its a Characin much like a needle fish or huejta
itll act like a gar it just isnt a true gar
