Got my breeding colony of mobas

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
not to hijack jhutch's thread but do you have a pic of your tank with all the flagstone ?

That is a nice sized tank tuner. I guess maybe I will rethink the lace rock. My fronts are already calm enough to come to the surface for food wiithout spooking and have settled in quite nicely but I don't want them to get injured either. Thanks for the info. These fronts are the first tanganyikans I have had experience with.

No problem. My fronts are also pretty calm. To be honest i had always read people commenting on no sharpies in the tanks and thought they were a bit overboard LOL. That is until i watched my alpha that time, freakish fast speed when they bolt around in there. I could hardly follow it with my eyes. By far one of the fastest moving cichlids i have ever seen, its so hard to believe it when they just hang so calmly in the tank LOL.

I would try to find some nice big rounded rocks to go in there, like you put in the tank for me that time. That would look really good too.

Your lace rock would be perfect for the mbuna you have, maybe some of the peacock tanks too.

Gomez I posted pics of it in the breeding forum.

Cichlidgirl, I just don't have access to a lot of large round rocks like those that I put in that tank for you. I wish I did but I will come up with something. Kind of irritates me that I didn't think of the sharp edges sooner because I was building a log cabin on the lake and could have grabbed up some nice rocks. I will find something though.
