Got my new jardini today

Alright dude how's your green to getting on ? I've not took new pics for a while been crazy busy with breeding jags etc in other tanks ;) I'll take aFew and upload them in next few days , he's grown a bit more hammering pellets now though making lots of mess in my tank :D
Still no major scraps with the DAT which is all good , I want to put them into my main tank soon but I'm not sure he won't get chomped by one of the cats in the night he's still a bit small for life in the main arena :D

great to see he is doing good wish u had some pics the green he is now 8 inches growing fast unfortunatley he killed a silver aro he is a mad fish
 
Welcome to the evil are club my friend :D my jars killed the DAT I put him in with and it was much bigger than him , I was worried about the jars tail getting nipped but wasn't the case , jardini strikes again :banghead::D

I'm moving my breeding pair of jags into his tank this week and I'm putting him in main tank think he's quick enough to avoid the cats ( I hope :eek:)

So far so good in the bigger tank , he's already chasing cichlids around like a true jar :D

I've just noticed a few dark patches on his scales not quite sure if its a scrape from fighting , caused from growth or something serious any ideas anyone ??? It could just be me being paranoid lol :D can't help it after loosing my last jar , I'm due a water change tomz that will help so I've just uped the temp slightly and added some melafix for piece of mind
