The sandal comment is in reference to a thread that Ash started awhile ago w/ a picture of some Asian kid wearing sandals getting crapped on by pigeons. I can't find the thread using the search function, but it was entitled something like "I found this picture of M/L." It culminated in Ming and Ash having separate avatars depicting the bird crap incident from their respective viewpoints.
