dont feed any fish large carp sinking pellets they contain to much oil. i have carp fished on lakes and rivers in the uk for the last god knows how long and basically it kills fish they have to higher fat content and the fish has a very very slow fat burning rate if not at all, do some research on carp pellets i would suggest!!!

I would agree. These big cats need high protein low fat diets. Thats why we aren't feeding these guys hamburger and things like that. You can feed liver and fish fillets though. for the big guys you could even feed whole frozen fish. (make sure they aren't really oily fish like anchovies though) I've heard of some guys feeding their big cats hotdogs, but not as their main diet...
Jumbo Prawns make great food for TSNs this size too. I just lost mine, but loved it. They are awesome fish.

And I don't know how much your dad pays you... but your going to have to work more than every couple of weeks... When they get big and can scarf down 10 jumbo prawns in one sitting easy, prices are gunna start stacking up.

I know every ones tellin ya the same stuff, but we just wanna make sure you know what your getting into, and watching out for the fishes sake. It all looks really good on paper or in your head, but when it actually comes down to making it happen, its a completely different ball game.

yes i no it will be alot of money but ill be working full time next year when there around 2ft and 3 ft long so it wont bother me that much then about the food bill :D

and when i got him the water was black this is the tank i took a pic and u can see him just about hes the whiter bit but the side the water was black and horrible he was in a 42" tank by 14" back so i think hes in a better place at this moment but they have had him for around 5-6 years they said and have feed him on sweetcorn and peas and algle wafers he hand feeds thats a good thing aswell but im glad ive saved him :)
