Dont put a ray in there, the cats are likly to either eat it or kill it. And getting feed to it will be almost impossible! Dont do it. It will end in tears.

i have a nice size 55g that i could put him in he is a 5" disc and he could goin that on his own would that be ok not for long though because i can get the big catfish in the pond and then the ray can grow out in the 5ft tank ??

If you mean loads of fish in my 6x2x2 they are small fish most dont get bigger than 6". And filteration is
1x FX5
1x Tetratec 1200
and 3 internals way more than your tank!

you dnt just need the water to be healthy you need a good amount of healthy bacteria and if you have to clean 1 filter out all the time it will not keep the bacteria in it and have time to build up before it is killed with a ammonia surge that you probably get every feeding, get more filters. yeah the ray will be snack food LOL,

im think ill have a look on ebay for a new fillter then lol and i was putting him in the 50-55g 2 grow up first lol i wouldnt put i ray in with the cats lol at that size any way lol

if you get an inline pond filter for fountains and make up large overhead or drip system with lots of bio i use al***rog for ponds it is volcanic rock type stuff pm u later
