While Rapps is a very reputable source, they don't scream FH to most of you?

My sentiments exactly. Thanks for supporting my "crap" opinion. =)

I don't mind your opinions, everyone is entitely to theirs. I believe they are true Trimacs and I don't doubt Jeff's expertise. I feel comfortable with the fact that he would not sell anyone a flowerhorn as a true Trimac. They are around 2" and my pics don't really show them well. Really didn't want to start a controvertial thread, just wanted to share my excitement.

I'm going to file this thread under the title, "Wish I didn't look at this thread, now want some!". Great looking fish, time to start looking!

Thanks and I know what you mean. I was searching for something else and came upon an old thread showing a 15" bruser. After seeing him I was hooked

I think the problem here is Ya'll are expecting adult coloration on juvenile fish. These are 100% F1 True trimacs.I have one and heard all this bull but after much research they are what Jeff says they are!

nice crew dk

I agree, they're still juves and won't show adult colors until at least 5". They actually do look like flowerhorn to me, but time will tell, and I trust Jeff.
