Sexy sexy channa jelly I am most jealous. How did you acquire them if you don't mind me asking? I would try sqratch's idea of directing a fan at the water surface and leaving the lights off to cool the water. Incidentally my stewartii didn't feed for several days after getting them. Also if they are from cooler water there is potential that their metabolism may be slower, and also that food in that kind of habitat would be more scarce than in warmer conditions, so this may have something to do with it. Jelly, totally awesome SH.. very hot! Fantastic colours!! What you can try to do is if you have a sump or something or a canister filter with the power on the top and a bucket style at the bottom, is you can submerse it in a larger bucket of cool/cold ice water
the temps will regulate themselves eventually
what about a peliter cooling system?

I have been in contact with snakeheads.org and they have said that they do lose the blue colouring. If they turn out like that I wont be disapointed at all.
