Is this a fact? Festaes been banned for importation? And if so, is that to the US. Or other countries as well?

Exportation of all wildlife is banned from Ecuador as far as I know from what Ive read. That still leaves Peru open where festae also come from. So there are festae being brought in, just not from "ecuador"...... So with all these festae, green terrors and other fish that come from Ecuador being sold as wild caught has rolling Lol..... Stupid!!!!!!

Yes, these days it is much easier to BS consumers about "wild" fish collected in Peru, than Ecuador.

Man, I hope who ever is catching "WILD" fry is bringing back more then 500 babies...LOL... Selling at $12 a piece, thats a potential of 6k if all stay alive...LOL again..... I am pretty sure that the total trip cost them pretty close to that including shipping fish back....

Man if they are doing this this for more then a enjoyment of the hobby and a business then they are hustling backwards....LOL
Funny Thread..... I love the hobby..... Buy F1 and higher quality fish and love them up with good food and water changes and you will have awesome fish.
 
FYI ....... you don't need to travel to Peru, to get wild fish from Peru.
 
Just thought that I would point that out as a couple of locals bring in several boxes of wild caught fish from SA every few months, including Peru, and they have never been to SA. :)
