I think it would, but that's probably just me, LOL... and you. Definitely would have to post pics if you do it.
yes i deffinatly will post pics
i will more than likely get 3 or 4 small posters and get them laminated so they don't get soaked in fish water then put them on the back of the tank.
And probly only me and you and maybe a very few others like the idea. But hey people like different things.Humm i wonder if the fish would distroy some HellRaiser figureines my mom plans to get me the whole set but it's like $75 and I don't want my fish to eat them.
Oh and for everyone that asked how i would see the black fish I plan on using red or purple gravel and florseent lights. The red in the gravel should really make the fish pop.
I will post picks as i go.
Now off to Spencers for some supplies.lol

Go for it. Do what ever you want to your tank. When it's all done you'll love it, trust me.

For a lot of questionable materials you have may have to find an aquarium safe coating to put on them so they dont leach plasticizers, amines and other toxics in the water. This may take some time to figure out because some coatings dont match with certain plastics. They melt them. Test first.

A lot of folks here use Krylon Fusion spray paint. I've used it and it works great. As with anything like that let it dry for several days before putting it in your aquarium.

Post your pics as you go along and everyone here will help you out.

With red gravel, the fish would stand out. The purple might be a little dark, but it would probably look good. Are you talking about those Todd McFarlane Hellraiser figurines?
not sure I saw them in this old comic book store as me and my mom were wondering around in New York and I was like I want them so she said she'll get them for me next week and send them here to Alabama.TMI I know but I'm not sure.
Does it matter? I know each one was like 20 bucks atleast I know Pin Head was 20 bucks.Anyway and I think the set was slightly cheaped than if I'd bought them seperatly plus my mom's a carny she could probly get the guy to give me a great deal.I don't know but I think the set was like 75-100 dollars...Are they worth more.Like as a coletores item or what.If so I'll get 2 1 to creep out my friends with in my fish tank and 1 to keep .

:iagree:

I'd probably do a combo tank b/c I love horror movies, have between 250 and 300 on DVD. Get the big 19" figurines and do it. Haven't seen Hellraiser?:WHOA:
