A little reminiscing... I miss these guys. :(

You'll have to forgive the quality. These were all taken with my old camera and before I knew anything about taking pics.

Here is the only pic I have of the female's tail. It doesn't show the white but at this age the male had "tagged" her tail so often I don't think it was growing straight nor had all of its original color from growing back so many times...

As long as you're talking about a female acute, absolutely interested. :naughty:

It's definitely a female but she is small. Maybe 4" - 4.5". She's at a local fish store but they have had her a while. They might be willing to let her go for a decent price. She was sent in as a Cobra... LOL

I'll check and let you know. I could easily ship her to you.

Yeah, love those pictures!! :D Definately what made me fall in love with acutes for the first time!! :D The stripe in the dorsal isn't as prominant as in other Lugubris huh?? Interesting. Definately have a plump belly like most female pikes, and the red belly.

Did your male ever get a more robust belly?

Thanks for checking.

And that was my bad attempt at humor for the day...you getting your hands on a hot little female just sounded a little bit kinky. :D

Ha. Totally missed that.

I just realized tonight's Tuesday. Did we have another "chat" that I missed? Oops. Well, the posts have been going just about as fast as a chat session here tonight.

Here's a couple of really bad pics of the male...

He never developed any red in his belly and in fact, when on his game, the whole bottom half of his body was nearly jet black.
