Yes ewurm, they can but use caution. Certain types of pokemon have very high protien content. Feed Pikachu's in moderation.

only a few pokemon can be used as feeders,most of them are the watertype's pokemon.
do never feed an electric pokemon!,it can destroy your hole tank!
