def a SA cichlid tank with jags, dovii etc. A big cat/oddball tank wit dats aros ray etc.
and the third you should either do a big front comunity and or a big discus community with a huge school of tetras lol(iidc who you are or how small they are it would look awesome to see a couple hundred tertas school)

i will post pics once the snow melts but im down in the city and he is up in the mountains and he has about 6 feet of snow right now so it might take a while until i can get up there. thanks for all of the suggestions. if anymore come to mind tell me plz.
Just a heads up. How are you going to get it into a house? The shortest dimension is 5 feet and comming out of college your prob not gonna be able to affort a house that has a grand entrance with double doors. Taking a framed in window out isn't fun either. Sory to get off topic, best of luck with the tank.
i dont have to get them in my first house after i save up and get a larger house then ill put them in.
Don't get gigas, they are much too big.
Here is a link to some pics of a place nearby where the guy built all these plywood tanks. They have tons of fish in them. I have to say the most impressive is the oddballs with big rtc and pbass or the ones with the red devils, midas, dovii, salvini, and jags. I bet the ray and arow setup will be nice when they grow.

IMO wait.. in a couple years all those fish will be old news and you'll have to decide all over again. Besides what MFK member has no idea what to stock a 1k gallon tank with?? really..

Besides you took all kinds of different fish(and turtles) and just listed them. Some are uber rare at this point, stuff like mata mata shouldn't be near fish, and that list is too long to make people weed through it and match up possible combinations. Reasearch max sizes/attitudes, narrow the list and then question what will work. You'll get more enjoyment out of it that way anyways.
