Grammodes common name suggestion

I would be in favor of calling the grammodes a "wolverine" cichlid.

I like Wolverine cichlid, it matches them too.

are we making up common names now. lets just stick to scientific names cuz it's too confusing now as it is. half the cichlids have a common name and half don't

i've always been more than fine calling them grammodes, i don't understand why anyone wouldn't be, there's no argument presented that would change my opinion on this. Unless of couse people can't spell or memorise latin or scientific names, in which case i'd say hobbistys need to put out more effort in learning there fish.

I have to say I quite enjoyed this post It is a valid topic. However now I must add my two cents too. I have heard all the common names her that were stated for Grammodes all except for Grammy's, and I think if I ever heard someone say that to me in person. I may have to give them a slap for that! Wolverine Cichlid was a bit creative I must give the topic creator credit for that, and I kind of liked it, but I prefer the scientific names as well. However for both Dovii and Grammodes. Again I agree most including myself just use (Dovii, or Grammodes).
