dude, that's a dovii...

They were having a sidebar conversation of their Dovii's on his Grammode thread...... just showing his Dovii.

I tried Buenos Aires tetras with my solitary male grammode and he gutted all six in like 3 days. He doesn't need dithers though. He actually comes out and greets me and he flares and bangs glass at my fingers. He is the exception to the rule so far as grammodes are concerned.

My grammodes is a systematic dither murderer.

He also spends the majority of his time under his piece of driftwood. Been moved around alot though.

hmmm maybe i should put some dithers in lol

I've had the same "fun" with my grammies..... For small dithers, I find that only other cichlids work without getting killed or eaten. Convicts work great. They do just fine with the grammies and even produce extra feeders for them!

Love to see your fish..... They are so beautiful when they are outgoing like yours.

Have you guys tried filament barbs for dithers/targets. They're really quick and my Grammy can't catch them. If you're keeping yours in a smaller tank forget it though, they need room for evasion.
