You probably wont be able to keep anything else in the tank with the lmb, as they get very agressive. The pickerel will eat anything smaller than it, but will leave everything else alone. The pickerel will be easily stressed by active or boistrous fish like sunfish.
LMB are my favorite. I've kept bass with blue gill and catfish at the same time and did not have any problems. I had 1 channel cat, 1 LMB, and 3 Blue gills in a 55 tank with no problem, just make sure the blue gill are larger and put all the fish in at the same time. I had my bass in the 55 gallon for about 1 1/2 years then let him go in my pond. They grow really fast!
LARGEMOUTH BASS IS THE WINNER! I'll post shots this weekend. I'm getting a pair. no worries about space or cleaning. 220 is fine until they are pond ready, and i'm pretty crazy about tank maintenance in the meantime. Thanks again everybody.
Yeah! Largemouths! 2 of em! They are cool already, my kids don't even scare them and they have only been in the tank for a half hour. Thanks again for the suggestions. On a side note my convicts just had about 30,000 fry in the other tank so it looks like food won't be a problem.
