Plants that live in brackish water are acclimated to that environment.

Kyoto grass (Ophiopogon Japonica) is mondo grass and not a true aquatic plant.

You can try Echinodorus tenellus or Glossostigma elatinoides. But they need more light than you currently offer.

co2 will both greatly help glosso and e. tenellus but the main thing you gotta have for them is crap loads of light. i would push as hard as i could for 3wpg with those guys.

a nice lower light forground is dwarf sagitaris. easy to grow then glosso and grows faster then tenellus
