Gravel or Sand?

Sand is definitely better than gravel. The only thing keeping me from switching to sand is the amount of work it would take to get all of the 200 pounds of gravel out of my tank.

Sand looks better but dont add too much can hold dead pockets because water doesnt circulate through it

it may raise ph depending on the type you get.

i definitely wouldn't go above a inch or you will need to stir it alot.
