3m color quartz all the way!!

black sand is killer in a fish tank.. and the 3m color quartz is really easy to clean.. its a bit heavier and doesn't get sucked up like blasting sand that i have used in the past..

50 lbs runs me 20 bucks here in minnesota.. look on 3m website for distributors..

I'll second 3M CQ....it's the only thing I use. I don't care much for the T-grade. One of my tanks has some mixed w/ a little quikrete commercial sand.

Large (1 inch +) Smooth Black Pebbles covering the bottom look great!!! Could be a little hard to clean but........ A lot of space for food to fall between.
