Who cares if it a fake, it is still a cool photo. I know if i had been in the Kayak you would have been able to water ski behind me Id have been paddling that fast haha. "You're gonna need a bigger boat!!!"

Greenterra, I think youre mistaken on the shadow theory. If you look where you say the shadow is on the right side of the shark and the sun is on the left. That shadow isn't a shadow it's a reflection of the dorsal fin out of the water. See how the guy in the kayak has the same reflection under him. Also the angle of the reflections is the same which suggest that the picture is in fact real.
In fact if you check on http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/sharkkayak.asp you will see it's been verified as real.

greenterra, that makes alot of sense, but i'd known it was real[sorry for not giving the other evidence], wonder what happened with that shadow thing.
