no no I wasn't looking for like brand new equipment haha, but do people sell used stuff outside of the auction? never been a fan of bidding...i'm competitive and have far to many credit cards hahahha

Maybe, it varies with every auction. There's normally a lot of used equipment though.
I definitely hope there are more "monster" species this year. Not a whole lot of guys into the big CA cichlids or predatory fish in our area.
Me too. Last spring they auctioned a 12" red devil and everyone was to scared to buy because they didn't have a big enough tank, lol. This is part of the reason I put it on MFK, the more monster keepers that join gpasi or show up to auctions then the more monster fish will start showing up at the auctions, meetings, and LFSs around us. Can't imagine the expression in everyone's face at the auction when the auctioneer says "next item up, a 36" Hydrocynus goliath... Wait, did I read that right?"
.I'm a member just never been to a meeting..or anything besides an auction. Time frame of meetings doesn't jive with my work schedule. Make sure we get to meet face to face at the auction, nice to put faces and real names to our forum usernames

Just read over the list of new and rare fish we'll be auctioning Sunday. Some really nice stuff on there guys! Not allowed to disclose it to the public but I assure you guys there's some stuff rarely if ever seen in the hobby that'll be there.
