I used to raise Belgian horses from the time they were born on my farm..one youngster was smarter then any other i raised..still have him and he is 12 years old now... he was at the New York State fair for halter championship.. i had him all dolled up from his mane to his tail ..florets in his mane and big bow on his tied up tail, black polish on his hooves all ready to present himself in the show ring.. well i had a few minutes so i took a short stroll to a near by bench..suddenly i saw Joey trotting past me through the crowd, head held high right into the show ring.. trot around the judge and stand there looking beautiful..i was shocked as i raced to get him.. he knew how to unlock his quick locks .. and open gates... someone held him as i made my way to him through the crowds of applauding people.. that was my great excape..experience.. here he is in the show, he won the futurity and people will always remenber him:grinno:

what happened ..no body else has any excape artists.. ????? :grinno:

My 18" Cal King "Ziggy" escaped from his 50 gallon aquarium with a clipped down screen top with books on it! I lowered the temp in the apartment and put heat lamps aimed at the floor but to know avail:( He probably went to my downstairs neighbors apt who was terrified of snakes. lol

I also had a RES escape while I was on vacation and the girl who was feeding the pets found her 25' away by the couch covered in carpet fuzz. She tossed the turt back in the tank and all was well.

I wont even go into how many times my lock picking Senegal Parrot has been found where the little bastard shouldn't be. lol

Oh, and the most recent escape artist in the family is my pit/boxer mix who can pry his way out of most crates and recently learned to fence climb:swear::swear::angryfire:mad:

I had my chameleons escape when I was a kid. My Mom found one in the laundry basket, and that was it.

I have ackie ninjas....they got out of their raise up cages all the time. Now as adults they are not so shrewd and this enclosure is escape proof * knock on wood

Snow corn. Went missing for about 2 weeks. Found him eventually curled up under my bed. Still got him now.

:nilly:oh ya i was visiting NY city with my black mamba, and it got out of the box, i never found it.:grinno:just kidding! lol

I tried keeping frogs once...Well my mom is deathly afraid of frogs so I wanted to make sure they couldn't get out. Went downstairs to check on em one day and there he was sitting on top of the cage looking at me lol. I quickly put him back in the cage and never kept a frog since lol.

I tried feeding my Oscar a frog once, and my Oscar is too dumb to know what it was so it left it alone. The thing kept climbing through the small filter hole and would sit on top of the tank until I finally let it go.
