I have two pit-boxers that are brother and sister. I keep them inside while I am at work because I thought that would prevent any trouble with the neighbors. I got a call from the dog catchers saying that my dogs were in the pound and that they had attacked a cat. Apparently, they saw a cat in my yard and busted through the window in my living room! I never heard what happend with the cat, I am assuming it was a stray. I had thicker glass put in my window to keep this from happening again. I am not happy that the cat was hurt and hopefully it won't happen again. I lucked out and didn't have to pay any fines because they were both up to date on their shots and they were microchipped and it was their first offense.

That happened to a doctor who lives near me... he actually broke into the pound on a sunday when the pound {shelter} was closed and rescued his dogs.. he went to the pound for a few days but his dogs are okay..:grinno:

I had a 6' jungle carpet python that I tried my hand at building a custom cage for (back when I was 15) used 1/4 " plexi as the front doors ( That was a mistake) He was in my room at the time .Well their I was proud of my accomplishment of building this massive thing for my snake to live in and had it all set up . Went to sleep that night only to wake up with my python curlled up next to me in bed the next morning!!. During the night he broke one of the plexi panes in half to get out and found the closest heat source ( me ) to curlup next to to keep warm.Luckly the next day I was out trying to find somthing else to do for him and came across a display case 6 foot long 3 foot high and 2 foot deep for 50 bucks .Needless to say that is where he is to this day although not with me . I had to sell him and the cage when I moved to sc.I wish I still had him:(

I used to have White's tree frogs, and when I just got them I had them set up in a 30G long with sliding cover glass on top. One of the panels sat above the other, and one of the frogs slipped between it during the night. I was woken up by my brother the next morning, whose room is next door to mine. He'd woken up to his alarm clock, and in the process of knocking it off, saw something jump. He found my little White's tree frog sitting atop a curry box from the night before!

My RES has managed to escape several times. The most recent one, she moved some tank decor and jumped onto my bed. I found her by my feet the next morning!
