They are legal to keep and sell within Australia, you cannot import them.

Buddy if you are planning on selling your green let me know. I can offer $550 =)

hey mate, just sold it to a guy who will give it a real nice home in his 8footer 2 nights ago.

How is your greenie going with the RTGGs?

The green has harrassed the RTGG a little, usually resulting in torn fins. Of late i havent had any issues though, they are both currently in a 4ft tank. Until my 6ft is fully cycled... i had a recent change of house.

Damn can i ask how much you sold it for? I really liked your green.

aros tails grow back fine you should have seen the state of some of my aros tails in the com

Has any one ever had a jardini Saratoga with an RTGG before? I'm thinkin of gettin an rtgg soon.
I know it's hard to say cos some fish jus have vandettas against others, I had a silver aro once that hated a bigger peacock bass I got, I thought it might of been because of the red in his tail, also wen I put him wit a jardini same thing.
My jar also hated a big barra I put with him but iv seen them get along fine in other peoples tanks, it's got to be territorial or personality, just wondering how others have gone with a jardini rtgg combo?

Bar the Jardini, you made a combo with the 2 worst asian aro's, Green and RTG, with RTG's being, arguably, much worse than Greens.

The fins grow back but they never grow in the correct position again ( it does not bother me, I have been down that road many a time ).

I have, many times ( as have others in here ).

Between a Jar and a RTG it deoends on size and temperament of the individual fish and, last but not least, which one was first in the tank.

You just have to try and be on the constant watch. That is how we gain experience.

A trick: Upon introduction leave lights on for 24 hours.

hey I haven had the privelidge of havin an asain aro yet, it's definitly a must have one day for me wen I find the right one for the right price and my pockets are full!

I thought jardinis were the most agressive in the aro range, does this ring true to everyone else? I know asain aros look awesome but are they generally more placid than a jardini as well? Iv had a few of them and I find there not too bad with most other fish, even if they do have a go at em every now and then to show em who's boss.

If you read my post you will notice that I have excepted the Jardini . It is, by far, the most agressive aro.

But, at the end of the day, it all depends on the indvidual ( as well as on some other factors ).

I have an RTG that kills any Jar it lays its hands on......
