probably need better filtration and more water changes

PH in the tank is 6.0? ( how accurate is your kit? + or - ?)What's your PH from the tap?

"At a PH of 5.5, your biological filtration will cease, and you'll have ammonia start to build up. In turn, this isn't much of a problem at a pH of 5.5, as most of the ammonia is of a non-toxic form at that point. Unfortunately, the first time you do a water change with water at a higher pH, the remaining ammonia in the water changes to a toxic form very quickly."

You should start to try and keep a stable PH around 6.5, because your bio load will start driving this down again....I didn't hear what filters you have ?..if the problem is excessive co2, try some air stones to agitate the water and see if the PH rises....

Holy crap I just posted a thread with the same issue a couple of weeks ago man !! Its an algae bloom bro !! I picked up something called algae destroyer and two days later my water was never as clear as it is now. Problem was solved. Shut of your lamp for a couple of days and add A.D.

You can add all the Algae Destroyer you want, it won't help the bioload any.

With as many fish as you listed, you must have a LOT of filteration in order to keep the biological system balanced.

What do you have in the tank for decor?
