I haven't read through the comments but absolutely not. Biggest no-no is getting a fish and not having the space already. You see fish for sale everyday that outgrew a tank that they were "planning" on upgrading and never did due to financial or whatever reasons.
Also both of those fish need a minimum of 90 gallons IMO. A full grown oscar alone looks crammed in a 75 gallon. To house them together you would need a 125 and those two would probably be it. Oscars and Green Sunfish are mean SOB's. One would die or both.
