Green Terror doesn't grow

Hi,
I have a 5 inch Green Terror, I believe it's a female. It's been a year and 3 months now and I still don't see any growth. Maybe half an inch I don't know. Now I know that GT"s, and especially females, grow slow, but this is absurd. It's really weird to see old pictures of my 5 inch GT and 2 inch Blackbelt, and then look at my tank and see a huge Blackbelt and a GT that's still the same size.
She also doesn't eat a lot right now, but the first months she did eat a lot, but even then she didn't grow.
They are in a 190 gallon tank. My ammonia and nitrite are always zero, nitrate around 15. Sometimes she has the white stringy poo thing. But not when I first had her, and like I said even then she didn't grow. Every other fish has a good growth, my other GT grows slow, but at least he grows. So does anyone know what I can do about this?

How big was she when you got her? She might be done growing and will only get to maybe 6" in a couple of years. Has she ever had a batch of fry before?

i had the same problem. i got a jag and a gt around the same time. the jag got like 6 inches and the gt was like 3. i eventually ended up giving the gt away

I have the same exact problem with my GT. I too believe that mine is a female and is basically the same size as when I bought her 2 years ago (3"). This fish also has stringy white waste hanging down. I once treated the fish for possible internal parasites but that didn't quite do the trick and I hardly ever see her eat anything. I don't know what the deal is

you should post a picture of your fish; maybe it's not a GT at all, but some other kind of acara species . . .

My male GTs seem to grow in spurts more than some of my other cichlids.

She was 5 inch when I got her and she still is. Yea I was thinking about the batch of fry as well, maybe she had a batch before I bought her cause she didn't in my tank.

Was thinking about this as well, maybe I am going to give it a try and treat her for internal parasites.

ive heard that green terror females stop growing after their first spawn.

maybe thats it?
