gt's are mature at 4" and females stop growing after their first spawning.so if u got it at 5" it is possible that it has already spawned.

So they actually completely stop growing, or just slow down a lot? So if she has spawned she will be like this for the rest of her life?

Yes, it "could" be her full size now. She may grow a bit more. Males get bigger then females.

I went to a store and took my Green Terror (they only sell cichlids there so they know what they're talking about) and 2 employees took a look at it and said it was actually a male. So i guess the grow problem is not because of laying eggs. Anyone else got any ideas?

yeah could you post a pic of her/him? if it is indeed a male then i would place my bet on bacterial infection, i had white poo issues with my GTs even though i treated them for parasites and they even laid a batch of fertile eggs, seemed to go away when i was soaking their food though, so you could try pre-soaking their pellets and maybe soak in garlic or something for some added protection and make sure you incorporate veggies to the diet

Thanks I will try that, and also look for some medicine for bacterial infections.
